Intellectual Property & AI Policy

Last Updated: October 2, 2026
Version 1

1. Introduction

This Intellectual Property & AI Policy ("Policy") applies to My Premium Learning ("MPL"), operated by MP Nerds LLC ("MP Nerds," "we," "us," or "our").

MPL combines educational content, user-created materials, artificial intelligence, personalized learning tools, assessments, and other digital learning functionality.

This Policy explains:

  • ownership of MPL intellectual property;
  • ownership of user-submitted content;
  • how user content may be processed;
  • how artificial intelligence is used;
  • the status and permitted use of AI-generated content;
  • responsibilities when uploading third-party materials;
  • copyright and trademark requirements;
  • academic integrity considerations;
  • prohibited uses of MPL intellectual property;
  • intellectual-property complaints; and
  • the responsibilities of users when using AI-generated material.

This Policy should be read together with the MPL Terms of Use, Privacy & Data Policy, Community & Safety Guidelines, and other policies made available through the Platform.

2. MPL Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, MPL and its underlying technology, branding, design, content, functionality, and materials are owned by or licensed to MP Nerds LLC.

This may include:

  • the My Premium Learning name;
  • MPL logos;
  • trademarks;
  • Platform branding;
  • website and application designs;
  • interfaces;
  • graphics;
  • illustrations;
  • icons;
  • databases;
  • software;
  • source code;
  • proprietary workflows;
  • learning structures;
  • original educational materials;
  • original templates;
  • Platform documentation;
  • assessment structures;
  • proprietary prompts;
  • AI workflows;
  • recommendation systems;
  • proprietary methodologies; and
  • other original MPL materials.

These materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, database, trade-secret, contractual, and other intellectual-property rights.

Access to MPL does not transfer ownership of MPL intellectual property to the user.

3. Permission to Use MPL

Subject to the Terms of Use and this Policy, MPL grants users a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use the Platform for permitted learning purposes.

This permission does not give users the right to:

  • claim ownership of MPL;
  • reproduce substantial portions of MPL;
  • resell MPL functionality;
  • create an unauthorized competing copy of MPL;
  • extract MPL databases;
  • copy proprietary Platform designs;
  • redistribute proprietary MPL learning materials commercially;
  • reverse engineer protected Platform technology;
  • remove ownership notices; or
  • use MPL branding without authorization.

Additional rights may be granted expressly for particular features, downloads, subscriptions, or materials.

4. Your Content Remains Yours

Users may provide content to MPL ("User Content").

User Content may include:

  • prompts;
  • questions;
  • notes;
  • learning goals;
  • uploaded documents;
  • text;
  • images;
  • learning materials;
  • study resources;
  • answers;
  • personal learning content;
  • feedback; and
  • other materials submitted through the Platform.

As between you and MP Nerds LLC, you retain your ownership rights in original User Content that you lawfully own.

Submitting User Content to MPL does not, by itself, transfer ownership of that content to MP Nerds LLC.

5. Permission to Process Your Content

To operate MPL, we need permission to technically process User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant MP Nerds LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit, display, and otherwise process that content to the extent reasonably necessary to:

  • provide requested Platform functionality;
  • generate AI responses;
  • create learning materials;
  • maintain your learning history;
  • provide personalization;
  • store content at your request;
  • enable sharing features you choose to use;
  • maintain Platform security;
  • troubleshoot technical problems;
  • prevent abuse;
  • comply with legal obligations; and
  • otherwise operate MPL as described in our policies.

This license does not mean that MP Nerds LLC takes ownership of your User Content.

6. You Must Have Rights to Content You Upload

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit content to MPL.

Do not upload or provide materials where doing so would violate another person's:

  • copyright;
  • trademark;
  • privacy rights;
  • confidentiality obligations;
  • database rights;
  • contractual rights;
  • trade secrets; or
  • other legal rights.

The fact that material is available online does not necessarily mean that it is free to copy, upload, modify, or redistribute.

7. Third-Party Educational Materials

Users may wish to use MPL to help understand material from books, courses, articles, research papers, presentations, educational resources, or other sources.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of those materials is legally permitted.

Permitted uses may depend on:

  • applicable copyright law;
  • licenses;
  • permissions;
  • contractual restrictions;
  • educational exceptions;
  • fair use or fair dealing where applicable; and
  • the amount and purpose of material used.

MPL does not grant users rights in third-party content merely because the content can technically be uploaded to or processed by the Platform.

8. Artificial Intelligence at MPL

MPL may use artificial intelligence to assist with functions such as:

  • personalized learning paths;
  • explanations;
  • lesson generation;
  • quizzes;
  • assessments;
  • summaries;
  • examples;
  • study guides;
  • practice exercises;
  • flashcards;
  • recommendations;
  • topic exploration;
  • learning plans;
  • content organization; and
  • other educational functionality.

AI may process information supplied by the user together with other information relevant to the requested functionality.

The availability and capabilities of AI features may change over time.

9. AI-Generated Outputs

"AI Output" means content generated or substantially generated by artificial intelligence through MPL in response to user instructions, prompts, selections, learning activity, or other inputs.

AI Output may include:

  • text;
  • explanations;
  • questions;
  • answers;
  • summaries;
  • quizzes;
  • learning plans;
  • study guides;
  • examples;
  • recommendations;
  • structured learning content; and
  • other generated material.

Subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and any additional feature-specific terms, MP Nerds LLC does not claim ownership over a user's AI Output merely because it was generated through MPL.

Users may generally use their AI Output for lawful personal, educational, or other permitted purposes.

However, the legal status of AI-generated material can vary between jurisdictions and circumstances.

MPL does not guarantee that any AI Output qualifies for copyright or other intellectual-property protection.

10. AI Output May Not Be Unique

Artificial intelligence systems may generate similar or identical outputs for different users.

Accordingly, MPL does not guarantee that AI Output is:

  • unique;
  • exclusive;
  • original in the legal sense;
  • eligible for copyright protection;
  • free from similarities to other content; or
  • capable of being registered as intellectual property.

Another user may receive content that is similar to content generated for you.

Use of MPL does not grant exclusivity over ideas, concepts, facts, common expressions, or similar AI-generated material.

11. Human Contribution and AI Content

The intellectual-property status of AI-generated material may depend partly on the level and nature of human creative contribution.

Users who intend to publish, commercialize, license, register, or otherwise rely on AI-generated material as intellectual property should consider obtaining appropriate professional advice.

MPL does not determine whether a particular AI Output meets the legal requirements for copyright, trademark, patent, design, or other protection.

12. AI Outputs Can Contain Errors

AI-generated material may be:

  • inaccurate;
  • incomplete;
  • outdated;
  • misleading;
  • factually incorrect;
  • improperly attributed; or
  • similar to existing third-party material.

Users are responsible for reviewing AI Output before relying on, submitting, publishing, distributing, or commercializing it.

MPL does not guarantee that AI Output is free from third-party intellectual-property claims.

13. Do Not Assume AI Output Is Copyright-Free

AI-generated content should not automatically be assumed to be free from intellectual-property restrictions.

An AI system may occasionally generate material that resembles existing content.

Before commercially publishing or using important AI-generated material, users should conduct appropriate checks where necessary.

This is especially important for:

  • commercial publications;
  • branding;
  • logos;
  • marketing materials;
  • professional educational resources;
  • paid courses;
  • books;
  • software;
  • product designs; and
  • other commercially significant content.

14. AI and Academic Work

MPL's AI features are designed to support learning.

Users remain responsible for complying with the rules of their educational institution, employer, certification body, examination provider, or other relevant organization.

Depending on those rules, AI-generated work may need to be:

  • disclosed;
  • cited;
  • attributed;
  • independently verified;
  • substantially revised by the learner; or
  • excluded from certain assignments or examinations.

MPL does not guarantee that use of AI is permitted for any particular academic task.

15. AI Should Support Learning

MPL encourages users to use AI as a learning assistant rather than simply as a substitute for learning.

Appropriate uses may include:

  • asking for explanations;
  • exploring difficult concepts;
  • generating practice questions;
  • testing understanding;
  • comparing approaches;
  • creating revision materials;
  • identifying knowledge gaps; and
  • developing learning plans.

Users should continue to think critically and independently evaluate important information.

16. Prohibited AI Uses

Users must not use MPL's AI functionality to intentionally:

  • infringe intellectual-property rights;
  • reproduce substantial copyrighted works without authorization;
  • create fraudulent academic submissions;
  • impersonate another person deceptively;
  • facilitate serious unlawful activity;
  • create prohibited exploitative content;
  • violate privacy rights;
  • circumvent Platform safeguards;
  • generate malicious software or facilitate unauthorized system access;
  • create deceptive material intended to cause serious harm; or
  • otherwise violate MPL policies or applicable law.

17. Prompts and Instructions

Users retain any intellectual-property rights they may have in original prompts or instructions they create.

However, ordinary prompts, ideas, requests, instructions, facts, or short phrases may not qualify for intellectual-property protection under applicable law.

Submitting a prompt does not create exclusive rights over the general concept requested.

For example, requesting:

"Create a beginner learning plan about astronomy"

does not give a user exclusive rights over the concept of an astronomy learning plan.

18. Personal Learning Paths

MPL may generate personalized learning paths based on information such as:

  • user goals;
  • selected topics;
  • previous activity;
  • assessment performance;
  • learning preferences; and
  • AI-generated recommendations.

The underlying MPL technology, workflows, interfaces, algorithms, and proprietary systems used to create those learning paths remain the property of MP Nerds LLC or its licensors.

A user's personal learning data and eligible User Content remain subject to the rights described in this Policy and our Privacy & Data Policy.

19. Quizzes and Assessments

MPL may generate or provide quizzes, questions, assessments, and other learning exercises.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • MPL-created proprietary assessment materials remain MPL intellectual property;
  • third-party assessment materials remain subject to the rights of their respective owners; and
  • AI-generated assessments are subject to the AI Output provisions of this Policy.

Users must not improperly obtain, distribute, or publish confidential examination or assessment materials belonging to third parties.

20. Downloaded Learning Materials

Where MPL permits users to download learning materials, the permitted use depends on the source and type of material.

Downloaded materials may include:

  • user-owned content;
  • AI-generated content;
  • MPL-proprietary materials;
  • licensed materials; or
  • combinations of these.

The ability to download material does not automatically transfer ownership.

Any restrictions displayed with particular materials continue to apply after download.

21. MPL Templates and Proprietary Resources

MPL may provide templates, frameworks, guides, structures, worksheets, or other proprietary resources.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these resources are licensed for the user's permitted personal or educational use.

Users may not:

  • resell them as standalone products;
  • redistribute substantial collections of them;
  • remove MPL branding and represent them as proprietary products of another business;
  • create unauthorized commercial template libraries from them; or
  • systematically copy MPL's proprietary resource library.

22. Trademarks and Branding

Names, logos, slogans, product names, visual identities, and other branding displayed through MPL may be trademarks or protected brand assets of MP Nerds LLC or third parties.

This includes, where applicable:

  • My Premium Learning;
  • MPL branding;
  • MP Nerds branding; and
  • associated logos and visual assets.

Use of the Platform does not grant permission to use MPL or MP Nerds trademarks commercially.

Users must not create the false impression that they are:

  • endorsed by MPL;
  • employed by MPL;
  • partnered with MPL;
  • officially certified by MPL; or
  • acting on behalf of MP Nerds LLC,

unless such a relationship actually exists and has been authorized.

23. Third-Party Trademarks

Third-party trademarks, product names, logos, and brand names referenced on MPL remain the property of their respective owners.

Reference to a third-party company, product, institution, or service does not necessarily imply sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement.

24. Copyright Complaints

MP Nerds LLC respects intellectual-property rights.

If you believe content available through MPL infringes your copyright, you may submit an intellectual-property complaint through the contact or support functionality provided on the Platform.

A complaint should provide sufficient information to identify:

  • the copyrighted work;
  • the allegedly infringing material;
  • where the material appears;
  • the rights holder or authorized representative;
  • contact information for the complainant; and
  • the basis for the infringement claim.

We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to evaluate a complaint.

25. Response to Intellectual-Property Complaints

Where we receive a sufficiently supported intellectual-property complaint, we may:

  • review the relevant material;
  • request additional information;
  • temporarily restrict access;
  • remove material;
  • contact the user responsible for the content;
  • restore content where appropriate;
  • restrict repeat infringers; or
  • take other action required or permitted by applicable law.

Submission of a complaint does not guarantee a particular outcome.

26. False or Abusive IP Complaints

Intellectual-property reporting mechanisms must not be intentionally abused to harass users, suppress lawful content, or make knowingly false claims.

Users submitting complaints should act in good faith.

Knowingly false statements may have legal consequences.

27. Repeat Infringement

MPL may restrict or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously infringe intellectual-property rights where appropriate and consistent with applicable law.

Relevant circumstances may include:

  • the nature of the infringement;
  • repeated valid complaints;
  • user conduct;
  • corrective action;
  • applicable law; and
  • other relevant context.

28. Feedback and Suggestions

Users may voluntarily provide feedback, ideas, suggestions, feature requests, or recommendations concerning MPL.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, submitting feedback does not create an obligation for MP Nerds LLC to compensate the user or refrain from using similar ideas.

You grant us permission to use voluntarily submitted feedback for purposes such as:

  • improving MPL;
  • developing features;
  • correcting problems;
  • improving user experience; and
  • developing future products or services.

This provision does not transfer ownership of unrelated User Content.

29. Platform Data and Databases

MPL may compile databases containing Platform information, learning structures, resource organization, metadata, and other information.

Subject to applicable law and user privacy rights, MPL's proprietary compilation, organization, structure, and database systems may be protected intellectual property.

Users must not systematically scrape, extract, copy, or reconstruct substantial portions of MPL databases without authorization.

30. Automated Extraction and AI Training by Users

Unless expressly authorized, users may not systematically scrape or extract MPL proprietary content for the purpose of:

  • building competing databases;
  • training external AI models;
  • creating competing learning platforms;
  • reproducing MPL's proprietary library;
  • commercial data mining; or
  • circumventing Platform access controls.

This restriction does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.

31. User Content and AI Model Improvement

MPL will handle User Content and AI interaction data in accordance with the Privacy & Data Policy and the disclosures presented through the relevant Platform functionality.

We will not represent that private User Content is used for AI model training unless that use is consistent with the disclosures, permissions, contractual arrangements, and applicable legal requirements governing the relevant service.

Where user choice or consent is legally required for a particular use, the appropriate mechanism should be provided.

32. Third-Party AI Providers

MPL may use third-party artificial intelligence, infrastructure, hosting, or technology providers to deliver certain functionality.

Where third-party providers process information on behalf of MPL, appropriate arrangements should be maintained in accordance with applicable contractual and data-protection requirements.

Third-party technology may also be subject to intellectual-property rights belonging to those providers.

Use of MPL does not transfer ownership of third-party technology to MPL users.

33. Confidential Information

Users should not submit confidential information belonging to employers, educational institutions, clients, businesses, or other third parties unless authorized to do so.

This includes:

  • trade secrets;
  • confidential business documents;
  • unreleased research;
  • restricted educational materials;
  • private customer information;
  • proprietary source code; and
  • information subject to confidentiality agreements.

Users remain responsible for determining whether they have permission to submit such information.

34. Privacy and Intellectual Property

Intellectual-property ownership and privacy rights are separate issues.

Owning a photograph, document, or other piece of content does not necessarily give a person unrestricted rights to use personal information contained within it.

Users must respect both:

  • intellectual-property rights; and
  • privacy and data-protection rights.

Additional information about personal information is available in the MPL Privacy & Data Policy.

35. Commercial Use of AI Output

Unless a specific feature states otherwise, users may generally use eligible AI Output generated for them for lawful commercial purposes, subject to:

  • applicable law;
  • third-party intellectual-property rights;
  • this Policy;
  • the Terms of Use; and
  • any feature-specific restrictions.

MP Nerds LLC does not warrant that AI Output is suitable for commercial exploitation or legally protectable.

Users intending to make commercially significant use of AI-generated material should conduct appropriate legal and intellectual-property review.

36. Attribution

MPL does not universally require users to attribute MPL merely because AI functionality assisted in creating content, unless a particular feature, license, institution, law, or other applicable requirement states otherwise.

However, users remain responsible for:

  • attributing third-party sources where required;
  • complying with academic citation rules;
  • disclosing AI assistance where required;
  • respecting applicable licenses;
  • distinguishing their own work from third-party material where appropriate; and
  • complying with the policies of schools, universities, employers, publishers, certification bodies, or other relevant organizations.

Where an MPL-generated output contains or refers to third-party material, users should independently verify whether attribution, permission, or another form of authorization is required before publication or distribution.

37. Citation and Source Verification

AI-generated citations, references, quotations, links, or source descriptions may occasionally be incorrect, incomplete, or fabricated.

Users must not assume that a source generated or suggested by AI exists or supports the proposition for which it was provided.

Before relying upon an AI-generated citation, users should verify:

  • that the source exists;
  • the identity of the author or publisher;
  • the accuracy of the title;
  • the publication date where relevant;
  • that the source actually contains the referenced information;
  • whether the source is credible for the intended purpose; and
  • whether quotation or reproduction is permitted.

This is particularly important for academic, professional, legal, scientific, medical, financial, or published work.

38. Facts, Ideas, and Intellectual Property

Intellectual-property law generally distinguishes between protected expression and underlying facts, concepts, methods, or ideas, although the precise rules vary by jurisdiction.

MPL may assist users in learning about facts, ideas, theories, methods, and concepts.

The presence of information within an MPL-generated learning resource does not mean that MPL claims ownership over the underlying fact or idea.

However, the particular expression, organization, design, database, illustration, or other protected element may be subject to intellectual-property rights.

39. Public Domain and Openly Licensed Content

MPL may reference or facilitate learning from materials that are:

  • in the public domain;
  • openly licensed;
  • Creative Commons licensed;
  • made available under open-source licenses; or
  • otherwise legally reusable.

Users remain responsible for complying with applicable license conditions.

These conditions may require:

  • attribution;
  • identification of the original creator;
  • linking to a license;
  • indication of modifications;
  • share-alike licensing;
  • restrictions on commercial use; or
  • other requirements.

"Free to access" does not necessarily mean "free to reuse without restriction."

40. Research and Educational Use

MPL supports legitimate research and educational activity.

However, describing an activity as educational does not automatically exempt it from copyright, database, privacy, confidentiality, or other legal requirements.

Users remain responsible for ensuring that their particular use of third-party materials is permitted under applicable law or license terms.

41. User Publications Created With MPL

Users may use MPL to help create learning-related materials such as:

  • study guides;
  • presentations;
  • articles;
  • educational resources;
  • course materials;
  • revision notes;
  • quizzes;
  • worksheets;
  • reports;
  • research outlines; and
  • other content.

Before publishing such materials, users are responsible for reviewing them for:

  • accuracy;
  • originality;
  • third-party copyright;
  • trademarks;
  • privacy issues;
  • confidential information;
  • appropriate attribution;
  • AI-generated errors; and
  • compliance with applicable laws or institutional requirements.

The fact that material was created with MPL does not mean that MP Nerds LLC has reviewed, approved, certified, or endorsed it.

42. No Automatic MPL Endorsement

Creation of content using MPL does not give a user permission to state or imply that the content is:

  • officially published by MPL;
  • certified by MPL;
  • endorsed by MP Nerds LLC;
  • academically validated by MPL;
  • professionally approved by MPL; or
  • an official MPL educational resource,

unless MP Nerds LLC has expressly authorized that representation.

Users may truthfully describe the role of MPL or AI assistance where appropriate, provided the description is not misleading.

43. Certificates, Achievements, and Credentials

Where MPL provides certificates, completion records, badges, achievements, or similar recognition, the associated design, branding, and verification systems may be MPL intellectual property.

Users may display authentic achievements issued to them where permitted.

Users must not:

  • alter credentials deceptively;
  • create counterfeit MPL certificates;
  • falsify completion status;
  • transfer credentials to another person;
  • manipulate verification information; or
  • falsely claim an MPL achievement.

Unless expressly stated, an MPL certificate or achievement should not be represented as an accredited academic or professional qualification.

44. AI-Generated Images and Other Media

Where MPL offers AI generation of images, audio, video, diagrams, or other media, the principles in this Policy also apply to those outputs.

Users should be particularly careful when generated media contains or resembles:

  • identifiable individuals;
  • copyrighted characters;
  • trademarks;
  • logos;
  • artworks;
  • commercial designs;
  • recognizable photographs; or
  • other potentially protected material.

MPL does not guarantee that generated media is free from third-party rights.

45. Personality, Voice, Image, and Likeness Rights

Users must respect applicable rights relating to a person's:

  • name;
  • image;
  • voice;
  • likeness;
  • identity;
  • privacy; and
  • publicity or personality rights.

Users must not use MPL to create deceptive or harmful impersonations or unauthorized material in violation of applicable law or MPL's Community & Safety Guidelines.

Special care must be taken with content involving minors.

46. Deepfakes and Synthetic Media

AI-generated or manipulated media that realistically depicts a person doing or saying something they did not do or say can create significant legal and ethical concerns.

Users must not use MPL to create or distribute synthetic media in a manner that:

  • fraudulently impersonates another person;
  • violates privacy or personality rights;
  • facilitates fraud;
  • constitutes harassment;
  • creates non-consensual intimate imagery;
  • exploits minors;
  • intentionally deceives others in circumstances likely to cause serious harm; or
  • otherwise violates applicable law or MPL policies.

Educational discussion of synthetic media and deepfake technology is permitted subject to applicable rules.

47. AI Output and Professional Advice

AI-generated learning materials may discuss professional subjects.

However, AI Output does not automatically constitute:

  • legal advice;
  • medical advice;
  • financial advice;
  • investment advice;
  • tax advice;
  • professional certification advice; or
  • other regulated professional advice.

Users should consult appropriately qualified professionals where professional advice is required.

This also applies where AI-generated content appears detailed or authoritative.

48. Responsibility Before Publication

Before publishing, submitting, distributing, selling, licensing, or otherwise using AI Output outside MPL, users should consider whether they need to:

  1. verify factual accuracy;
  2. verify sources and citations;
  3. check for third-party intellectual-property rights;
  4. check for confidential information;
  5. check for personal information;
  6. confirm compliance with academic or professional rules;
  7. review applicable license requirements;
  8. make appropriate disclosures regarding AI use; and
  9. obtain professional advice where the intended use creates significant legal or commercial consequences.

The level of review should be proportionate to the importance and intended use of the content.

49. Responsibility for Commercial Publication

Users choosing to commercially exploit content created with assistance from MPL do so subject to applicable law and third-party rights.

MP Nerds LLC does not provide a guarantee that:

  • the material is registrable as intellectual property;
  • the user will obtain exclusive rights;
  • the content is unique;
  • the content does not resemble existing material;
  • a trademark is available;
  • a commercial design is non-infringing; or
  • the material is suitable for a particular commercial purpose.

Commercial users should conduct appropriate due diligence before making significant investments based on AI-generated content.

50. No Intellectual-Property Registration Service

MPL may provide educational information about intellectual property but does not, unless expressly stated for a specific service, act as:

  • a copyright registration service;
  • trademark attorney;
  • patent attorney;
  • intellectual-property law firm;
  • rights-clearance service; or
  • intellectual-property registry.

Users remain responsible for obtaining professional assistance where necessary.

51. Ideas Suggested by AI

AI may generate:

  • business ideas;
  • product ideas;
  • names;
  • titles;
  • educational concepts;
  • project ideas;
  • creative concepts;
  • learning exercises; or
  • other suggestions.

MPL does not guarantee that an AI-generated idea is new or that another person has not independently developed or used a similar idea.

Users should conduct appropriate research before relying upon AI-generated ideas for commercial or proprietary purposes.

52. AI-Generated Names and Branding

If MPL generates possible:

  • business names;
  • product names;
  • course names;
  • slogans;
  • domain ideas;
  • brand names; or
  • other commercial identifiers,

users should independently investigate whether those identifiers are available and whether their use could infringe existing rights.

An AI suggestion is not a trademark clearance search.

53. Software and Code Generated by AI

Where MPL provides or generates software code, examples, formulas, scripts, or other technical material, users are responsible for reviewing that material before use.

AI-generated code may:

  • contain errors;
  • contain security vulnerabilities;
  • be inefficient;
  • fail to perform as expected;
  • contain dependencies;
  • resemble existing code; or
  • be subject to third-party license considerations.

Users should conduct appropriate technical, security, and licensing review before deploying AI-generated code in production or other important environments.

54. Preservation of Ownership Notices

Users must not intentionally remove, obscure, or alter copyright notices, trademark notices, license notices, attribution information, watermarks, or other ownership information contained in MPL proprietary materials or third-party content unless legally permitted.

55. Linking to MPL

Users may generally link to publicly accessible MPL pages in a lawful and non-deceptive manner.

A link must not falsely imply:

  • sponsorship;
  • endorsement;
  • partnership;
  • certification; or
  • affiliation.

MP Nerds LLC may request removal of links used in an unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or abusive context.

56. Framing and Mirroring

Unless expressly authorized, users may not frame, mirror, reproduce, or present substantial portions of MPL in a manner that makes MPL appear to be part of another service or website.

This includes attempts to reproduce MPL's user interface or proprietary content in a way that could confuse users about the source of the service.

57. API and Automated Access

If MPL provides an API or other authorized automated-access mechanism, use of that functionality may be subject to additional terms.

Users must not use unauthorized automated methods to:

  • scrape MPL;
  • systematically download content;
  • extract proprietary databases;
  • bypass usage limits;
  • reproduce Platform functionality; or
  • interfere with MPL infrastructure.

58. Educational Content Created by MPL

MPL may independently create and publish educational content.

Unless otherwise indicated, MPL-created content is owned by or licensed to MP Nerds LLC.

Users may access such content for the purposes permitted by their account, subscription, and applicable terms.

Access does not automatically include the right to commercially reproduce or redistribute the content.

59. Community Contributions

Where MPL permits users to publish content to community areas, the original contributor generally retains their applicable ownership rights.

Other users must respect those rights.

The ability to view content does not automatically provide permission to:

  • commercially reproduce it;
  • claim authorship;
  • republish it elsewhere;
  • incorporate substantial portions into another product; or
  • use it to train external AI systems.

Any sharing or reuse functionality specifically provided by MPL remains subject to the Platform's applicable terms.

60. Removal of User Content

Removal of content from MPL does not necessarily resolve ownership disputes between users or third parties.

MP Nerds LLC may remove or restrict material where reasonably necessary to:

  • respond to valid intellectual-property complaints;
  • comply with law;
  • enforce Platform policies;
  • protect users;
  • protect MPL; or
  • address security concerns.

Such action does not necessarily constitute a legal determination regarding ownership.

61. Disputes Between Users

MP Nerds LLC is not ordinarily responsible for deciding private intellectual-property disputes between users.

Where appropriate, parties may be encouraged to resolve ownership disputes directly or through applicable legal processes.

MPL may take temporary protective measures while a dispute is being reviewed.

62. Changes to AI Technology

Artificial-intelligence technology develops rapidly.

MPL may change:

  • AI models;
  • AI providers;
  • generation methods;
  • personalization technology;
  • safeguards;
  • available AI features; or
  • technical infrastructure.

Where these changes materially affect the processing of personal information, our Privacy & Data Policy will apply.

Where they materially affect users' contractual rights, appropriate updates or notices will be provided where required.

63. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Intellectual Property & AI Policy as MPL develops.

Changes may reflect:

  • new AI functionality;
  • changes in intellectual-property law;
  • new Platform features;
  • changes to technology providers;
  • new content formats;
  • changes in licensing practices;
  • legal or regulatory developments; or

66. Our Approach to Intellectual Property and AI

My Premium Learning is designed around a simple principle:

Technology should help people learn, create, and understand — while respecting the work and rights of others.

MPL therefore seeks to balance:

  • user ownership;
  • creator rights;
  • access to knowledge;
  • responsible AI;
  • academic integrity;
  • innovation;
  • transparency;
  • privacy;
  • intellectual-property protection; and
  • freedom to learn and create responsibly.

Users should approach AI-generated material with the same critical thinking that should apply to any other learning resource.

Create responsibly.

Respect ownership.

Verify before relying.

Credit where required.

Use AI to support learning — not replace judgment.
